Mishka & Ringo .... The love story continues

The "pair" Mishka and Ringo can't be separated for longer than 5 minutes.

They have fallen totally in love with each other.

If Mishka does not see Ringo for a few minutes this is what he says......

Mishka also has a way of getting Ringo when he wants him.
He makes the sound of Ringo's toy mouse, the one that squeaks and Ringo comes running in.

Right now Ringo is keeping an eye on him brother Mishka who is fast asleep, Ringo is laying next to his cage.

Awww today Mishka said to me "Mommy Ringo is cute"

This morning was the cutest EVER

I placed Mishka on his potty, he climbed off and asked for Ringo "Mommy where is Ringo?".

Before I could reply Ringo walked into the kitchen and lay near Mishka's potty.

Mishka turned around and said "Hello big boy I missed you"

My heart instantly melted.

I sure did!!! I just watched it and it was very very cute!!!! It reminds me of my birds calling the dogs. Willie and Lola both love the dogs and they call for them all day everyday. I don't know what they would do if something happen to the dogs as 2 of them are getting up in age and it's starting to worry me.....

It is amazing just how attached animals get attached to one another.

Things have been rather hectic this end of the world.

6 Weeks ago Ringo was diagnosed with a bacterial infection in the intestines.
It has been a long road to recovery. Many vets visits, much medication and many many prayers.

The med's he was given made his extremely sleepy, he did not play at all.

It broke my heart to see him like that.

However there was a very good sign... Ringo did not stop eating his pellets. The vet gave us a powder to mix with the pellets saying many cats refuse to eat it. If he refused to eat he would have been hospitalized.
He also had to take antibiotics orally, never had a problem giving them to Ringo.

Ringo now weighs 3.200kg and is looking so healthy.

It is awesome to have our lovable Ringo back, being so loving and playful once again.

Mishka sure missed the interaction with Ringo, even though he saw Ringo throughout the day.

Mishka knew Ringo was sore... often said "shame mommy Ringo is sore I want to kiss Ringo's sore and Ringo went to the hospital".

Mishka and Ringo share such a special bond. They walk together around the apartment, Mishka always in the lead.

They are always under strict supervision, never left alone together for one second.

Mishka sure know how to get Ringo's attention. He calls Ringo, exactly like I do and Ringo goes running to Mishka, works each and every time.

Mishka is really a caring family member.
This morning he asked me "Mommy is Ringo still sick?

Nothing gets me more than a family member being and and NOT being able to say whether they are in pain.
