Hi. Thank you for allowing me to join your group. I lost my sulfur crested cockatoo April 2015. I still miss him terribly. I had him twenty years. I am interested in rescue perhaps but am ready for another parrot. I love to see the photos and stories of your parrots. We are lucky special folk to have the trust of these beautiful birds.

Welcome here. You are among friends that understand that level of love, bonding, and devotion. To live with a parrot for that many years is a noble life. I hope you'll share your stories with us someday so we can all know Andieman. Good luck on finding your next companion. You'll know him/her when you meet him/her.

Moluccans are a terrible choice for most everyone with very few exceptions. They take a very special person to go the long haul with them.

OP I'm sorry for your loss. I know it's a terrible, hard thing to deal with.
