Just joined the forum and would like to introduce myself and my 5 Year Old Caique we call Kiwi or Miss K or Kiwi Bird - they all seem to please her so we change them up and she repeats them frequently.


We also have another bird, a Quaker we call Pearl as she's an Albino and we got her as a companion for Kiwi. Weren't sure if they would take to each other as I've heard it likely wouldn't work BUT.... the two of them are inseparable to the point they sleep snuggled up together in one cage at night and if one is out of sight of the other, they call for them and looking to find out where the other one is hiding.

Welcome to you, Kiwi, and Pearl! So glad you found us. That's wonderful that your babies get along so well. I'm kind of on the opposite end of that spectrum. My two... Don't. Well, my Ekkie tries really hard, but he's a little too pushy, and my YNA just isn't having it. We can dream though.

If you have questions, you need only ask. We have lots of experienced, knowledgeable folks here, always happy to help in any way we can.
