Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any GCC breeders in MN? Preferably as close to Duluth MN as possible.

Try Birdbreeders.com. Other bird information websites have breeder listings also. Good luck. Green Cheek Conures are easy to find anywhere in the US.

I met a great cinnamon GCC at petco (This is actually an OK petco, not like most of them) Born in January and hand tamed. But petco jacked up the price to $400 :( They also had a beautiful blue Quaker for 800!!

Back onto topic,,,,,
Every breeder website I have looked at is outdated and most of the breeders have gone out of business.

Any reliable breeder list/websites?

Same for our local Petco, way over priced! But some awesome GCC and a beautiful black capped conure, I visit him every 3 days,, (don't tell JoJo please)

Hello fellow Northlander. Living in Hermantown here. I'm not aware of any breeders in this area though I never really looked here. If you are willing to travel down to the Cities, there are some green cheeks at a rescue in Mahtomedi, north of St. Paul. You will still have adoption fees and cage expenses but quite often rescue birds are wonderful. I have two. A blue crown and a senegal.

Is the Petco you visited the one in Central Entrance? Not a bad store as far as chains go. But I don't like that plastic closet they keep the birds in. They used to have a bird room where you could interact with the birds. I miss that.

I'm in SE MN, that would be quite a road trip though............. I don't currently have any babies available but would be happy to discuss the possibility of putting you on a waiting list if interested.
