I put 3 cages away in a storage shed and took them out on monday. I noticed alot of green/brown mold growth growing everywhere from the cage bars to the plastic bottom tray. I put them back in storage and planned to throw them away but I was wondering if there was any hope in saving them? Or should i play it safe and get rid of them?

I would think steam cleaning them would do it. They haven't rusted, have they?

A good bleaching should work. Although, inside the tubes, around the framework would have to be submerged in bleach water. You can clean it, but most likely, will have to be taken apart.

I am wondering if F10SC would not be better to use. I know it kills a lot of nasties but not sure of mold specifically. Would have to do a more in-depth search and find out. Possibly if I have some time on the weekend I could but in the meantime you might want to start googling it.

This is where I have bought it in the past, might want to talk to Dr Walt
