I have just been taken over by a hen African Grey :green1:aged ten years called Molly. She can talk,I think, but is holding the cards close to her chest until she sees what kind of a guy I am.

I am 87,male,English,retired academic philosopher, living too near Chelsea Football Club for comfort, since I loathe the notion of being anywhere near mudstained billionaires trotting around a` wet meadow in shorts and generally making fools of themselves. I am toying with the notion of click-training Molly to Attack,Attack,Attack, anyone over sixteen kicking a football.Stay tuned.

Final details; I love playing chess, walking or rather doddering at my age and vegetarian cooking, having given up scavenging dead animals, birds and fish many decades back.
And I love my Molly

Welcome to the forum trevor and Molly. :)

I'm happy you found us and joined, but I'm even happier that you and Molly found each other! ;)

Your comments about the Chelsea Football club had me laughing pretty hard, I must admit. :D

Welcome! What a well written intro. I look forward to reading your updates on Molly bird!

Welcome aboard Trevor.....glad you decided to drop in.....

While I still relish the taste of a good rare, grilled steak, I find the fare of many butchers & fish mongers to be considerably less than it was 40-50 years ago.....

If you get Molly's training worked out, I might be interested in licensing its use to discourage some all-terrain vehicle enthusiasts that begin their weekend fun soon after daybreak on Saturdays & Sundays.....heck, my birds even get upset at being so rudely awakened.....

Welcome to the forum Trevor and Molly:)

Hello & welcome! Most talking birds will be silent until they're comfortable with you. Give Molly time, and you may yearn for these quiet days! :p
