I don't see how it's humanly possible to say good-bye to that most precious face in the world. :D

Mishka is sitting there SO pretty, almost with tears in his eyes as if he was thinking "I'm going to miss my Mommy wayyyyy too much."

 I now just say bye bye Mishka ,mommy loves you, enjoy your day and walk out quickly....... otherwise I break down, and begin crying :(

Awww,

I get that same look when I got to work, it is so hard to leave.
I also get it at bed time too!!

Today has been a really busy day for us, so after a long time in the cage, Blu was happy when he finally came out. After a good meal and some snacks we had a long good play, but bedtime came to fast;( i think i hated me a bit today;(

LoL when putting Mishka down for the night, he refuses to step up onto my hand, eventually when he does, he does birdie flips..... turns upside down and remains like that, even when placing him in his night cage.

Bosley will go into his cage at night with and I sit with him for a little bit before lights out. He likes that routine, but when I say goodnight I get that look, makes me want to cuddle with him some more.
They sure have a way of stealing your heart.

Mishka is such a beautiful parrot! I am sure it is hard to leave him. But he knows you will return with lots of love to give him.

Surprised we will have hearts

I can't sit with Mishka when placing him in the night cage.... :(
I tried it, he then begins to talk and goes on for hours....

Birds are like puppy's, they will NEVER want to leave you. I made a list of plans that my budgies do when I have to go to school

Plan A , give mommy puppy eyes

Plan B do cute tricks and act like a conducter with her pencil

Plan C act as cute as you can and stay permenatly attached to the crook of her neck

Plan D hide in her hair and hope to go to school with her ( most often used since I have thick hair )

Plan E when mommy finds you hiding in her hair and finally digs you out follow her around chirping and when she leaves through the door stay at the see through glass door making her feel guilty .

My mom has to try and get her into her cage before she goes to office and they try to snuggle with her LOL :greenyellow:
