I occasionally manage to sneak off by myself, but in general I am not allowed to go to the bathroom on my own. I must be accompanied at all times by my cutie patootie chaperone!

Aww, so cute! I am looking forward to getting a GCC myself, and am curious to see what our morning routines and such will be like together!

Our morning ritual repeats each day. Each time I try to deviate I am given a real earful. So Syd is in the spare room in his sleep cage. When I wander around the house after his bedtime or through the night there is no sound but I will guarantee that if he hears me after 7am he makes it very clear that he is awake. If I am silent I get to lie in til 8!

I never offer my hands first thing (blood always gushes) it is always a spare perch, and it has to be a certain one. If I use a different one he goes into attack mode. He sits patiently while I carry him to his day cage and then spends a couple of seconds looking to see what changes I have made overnight. If there are foraging signs he goes there first, if not he is into the veggies. That is until I go for my cereal, then he kicks up until he gets some. I end up giving him some and then he is quite happy while I eat mine but once done that's it he will start quite quietly calling baby repeatedly getting louder and louder until he gets out.
Fortunately he hates the shower so once he has his morning cuddle or whatever he will happily go in his cage while I sort myself out. I say happily as long as I'm not too long. If he thinks I have had long enough he lets me know in no uncertain terms.
I always thought that he came to live with me, I have never been quite sure when the role reversal happened.
