Hey, new guy on the forums , I have a question, My 4 y/o Eclectus is loosing feathers around his neck. It seems he's done this before but not to this extent, any info would be appreciated

I agree with Monica. My Bixby seems to be on the tail end of his own Mojo Molt. (At the nape of his neck.) I can easily see the similarities between his feather condition and that of your eclectus'. Namely, the presence of gray down instead of the usual green feathers.

No one knows why it happens. It seems to be random. Relatively few ekkies get it. It can last for several months at a time. And, aside from the obvious aesthetic issues, there are no other ill-effects.
