I have built an outdoor aviary for fids. The green cheeks(2 out of 6), cockatiels, lovebirds and a bulbul are housed there permanently.

Lucky birds, it's wonderful! You must be in a warm climate, couldn't do this in central NY state :-(

I would love to have an outdoor area for my crazy twitter as well! All of your birds look so happy!

Great video! I see Kilaya loves to visit the aviary too! :)

In Belgium, my native country, many people have outdoor aviaries. And most of them include a smaller section that offers heat for the winter months. I always wanted one as a child but my parents never gave in.

One of the largest Macaw breeders in England his are all aviary birds Rain hail and snow they get use to it!

Yes and they can die and/or receive excruciating frost bite.

Very impressive! I wish I lived in a climate I could do this for them all year round.

Another great video :). I enjoy seeing you birds!

That is amazing! I was going to invite you over for some help, but you are a little more that a quick jump from Malaysia to California. ")

Beautiful aviary! The birds seem to look so much more happy! BUT, where I live in Canada, with temps going down to -25C or lower in the Winter, it's impossible.

I'm in Canada too, so there's no way! Maybe one that's heated with a bird-safe heater? Is that a thing?

OP, your aviary is beautiful! I'm seriously jealous.
