I lost my precious Ocar two days ago to Atheroschlerosis which went undetected his entire life, regardless of my persistence and constant vet visits. It wasn't until his autopsy that revealed this deadly illness.
Oscar was more than "just a pet" he helped me through my own life long illness and now I have to learn to go on without him and the support, laughter, and discipline he provided.
Although all the signs were present, I guess it was Gods Will. RIP my beloved friend!!

So sorry for your loss. Only another bird lover can really understand what a hole these guys leave in our hearts. I have lost several birds, including a Grey that I inherited from my Grandfather. They are very special birds, and I think of him so often, these last 12 years. Know that you both shared a very special bond, and made each others lives so much better by being together.

Sorry for your loss, I feel your pain
You have the fondest memories, never to be forgotten
R.I.P Oscar, Rainbow Heaven is blessed to have another special angel.

I am SO sorry. Rest in peace, gentle soul.

So sorry for your lose, I as well lost my grey about a year and a half ago. I o ly had her for about one year she was a rescue and she ended up dieing of cancer. She was my illegally wild caught, plucker, phobic girl that everyone else lost hope on and I decided to be dedicated and fix her. She becAme a lover girl and became a bird the whole family could love on.

I am so sorry for your loss :( I've only had my Grey, Spot for a couple of weeks and my Alex, Vino since August and I can't bear to think of losing either of them.

I am so sorry for your loss. :( I know how much our feathered friends mean to us...

I am terribly sorry for your loss of Ocar, it's very sad to lose one of the family members in which that's what they are, part of our family. He'll be flying free watching over you!!!

I'm sorry for your loss...he'll live on through you.. just know that if he's asked about humans by other birds, he'll have this really awesome one to tell crazy and funny stories about :) so your memories will go on..
