I have had some food poisoning, not fun, but Buddy has been my angel and buddy, as well as the pugs, Canelo, Venus ( in her own way), and Buzz.

Husband supplied me with chicken noodle soup and oyster crackers. Oyster crackers are small saltine crackers, I mean tiny crackers. Well leave it to Buddy to steal from my little bowl of oyster crackers, hold them in a foot and slowly savor them lol. I must say he lifted my spirits but got mad when I cut him off due to the salt content.

OH no. I am glad you are ok . I had a friend that had food poison. She was sick for a week :(

Buddy was just making sure the crackers were ok before you ate to many lol.

Oh not good, get better soon.

Don't forget to put some good bacteria back in - live yoghurt etc!

I hope you are better now! Food poisoning can leave a lingering unsettled feeling days after the event.

Our pets can be extremely empathetic under these conditions!!

Hope you feel better soon...take care of yourself you will need lots of rest for a while afterwards as food poisoning tends to leave you feeling weak and lacking in energy for a while afterwards... obey Buddy the taster hee hee...I bet he got mad with you when you cut him short on getting more LoL :) Get Well Soon :)

I do love oyster crackers. Way less soggy in soup than broken saltines.

Amazons are the suns around which everything else orbits.

Awww, I hope you are feeling better! It's awesome to have wonderful caregivers, even if one wants paid in oyster crackers;)

Hope you feel better soon!!! Food poison isn't fun to deal with....I'm quite careful now days thus the reason why we don't go out to eat very often.

I'm sorry for your food poisoning Tracey, that's awful :(. At least you had some little caretakers (besides your husband) lol. :)

It amazes me how sick you can be and my little green monster can make me smile. Thanks for all the well wishes. I don't think I'd wish food poisoning on anyone!

Hope you are feeling better now! Parrots are very sensitive to the health of their flock, and I would argue feel sympathy and empathy when a flock mate (even a human one) is ill. Amazons are also winged pigs, so I'm not surprised he stole all your crackers:D
