My Cockatiel Kiko and his tricks

So, I have a 5 year old Cockatiel named Kiko. I rescued him from a very rough condition and hand-tamed him. Well, kind of. Minus the hands. He hates hands, but other then that he is pretty much tamed. I've started to teach him to wave and target train him with a red pencil. He is getting the hang of it, but, my problem is he doesn't do any of them outside of his cage. So, I'm working on that. I am also trying to potty train them, but that's a bit of a difficulty so far. But, yeah. I'm proud of him.
