My Conure Is lnside my ear

gingin my orange blend conure is in his baby stage at the moment I think.
He likes to go on my shoulders and cuddle my face and he then sticks his head inside my ear. he also licks my face.
tell me what you guys and gals think? is happening? thanks.
and has your baby ever done this ?

My non baby conures do this. Get used to it.

Conures loose heat through their beaks and feat, an ear hole is a nice snuggly place to put a beak.

Just wait till they decide to chirp when they are in there though....that part sucks!

Yes lorikeets do that too. My little Lilly will spend half her day trying to get in to my husband’s ear, then the other half trying to get between his glasses and his eye, it makes for hilarious viewing

Lucky you, my macaw is obsessed with sticking her tongue up my nose as far as it will go ... I wish she would just stick to nibbling my ears....SO much nicer!

I've gotta ask, what is an "Orange-Blend Conure"? I've not ever heard of this before...

I'm Not sure myself but when i got him the owners gave us a DNA test to prove he was male. they sent that through so. I'm guessing it means hes more orange blended or it could be his background so yeah. because it said orange blended so yeah. i should find out more in an other thread but i'm not sure.

I know a lot of parrot species but not "orange blend conure". I was trying to google it and no results. The most similar name is orange fronted conure. Anyway the photo would be the best solution

My senegal likes to put her beak in my ear, it reminds me of the scopes the doctors use to check your ears. I can hear her breathing in there and I dont particularly like it, but I pick my battles with her. This isnt one of them.
