my ekkie sounds like a baby

my ekkie boy always makes some sounds like ah-ah-ng-ng like a baby when he sees me. he's adorable and i like to ask how are ur ekkies? the same? what do the sounds mean?

My female makes baby sounds too.

My female ekkie doesn't make baby sounds so much. She does have a high pitched voice & she is still learning to talk. So she makes lots of noises you can't figure out just yet. Of course she listens to my 2 macaw brother's & tries to mimic them. They do talk & she tries to keep up with them when they get wound up.

My girl talks quite plainly in a little girl voice mostly. She will mimic Hubbys deep voice when she is repeating phone conversations she over hears. Also she does mimic my granddaughters cry when she really wants attention.
