So when I was going to sleep last night (this has happened other nights too) I hear my GCC purring? Or snoring? Does anyone else's do this?

Since you're concerned, see a vet..just to be on the safe side :)
Do you cover his cage at night?

My conure will sometimes laugh ominously if I accidentally wake her up in the middle of the night. She'll make other soft noises too. I also peridocally hear beak grinding at night.

Not sure exactly what sound you're describing to say for sure if my babies have done it, but it's probably nothing to be worried about.

I'm not really concerned, I've heard him make this noise in the day like when I'm petting him or he's being crazy. Yeah I cover his cage

It sounds kinda like a cat purring but more high pitch

GCC's like making different sounds before going to sleep ;) Zenek makes so different sounds after turning off the light, which are hard to describe... + saying different words

Sounds like a contented, sleepy bird to me.
I am rubbing Quaker’s head and he is “purring” right now. Sometimes I make a quiet “errr, errr” noise back which he seems to like.

A higher pitched sound, is it possible he possibly beak grinding? That's a common thing in my house when settling in to sleepy time, and indicates a happy, contented birdy :)
