Parrots
I rescue, foster, and rehabilitate as many parrots as I can take in.
Hello,

My name is Velimir. I have many different types of parrots -- from the smallest cockatiel to the largest African Grey. I am hoping to add one eclectus someday, but it depends on individual needs. I take in many parrots and foster them to good health and then find them decent homes. Except for some of them... Some of them refuse to leave me so I just let them stay.

I am owned by parrots.

I also have big interest in reptiles. I have many snakes and lizards, in case someone here shares a similar interest?

Hello and a warm welcome to you and your interesting flock, Velimir!

Looking forward to photos!

Thank you JerseyWendy and Allee.

I volunteered at a reptile rescue and we had to save a parrot. I ended up taking the parrot home and then got another and another and started volunteering for parrot rescues shortly after that.

I am glad it happened that way because I am very detail-oriented when it come to my reptiles and now I am very detail-oriented about my birds. Every little aspect matters.

It is my passion as much as my hobby. They are my family as much as my pets.

Hello and welcome! I am also looking forward to seeing pictures of your flock, as well as your reptiles:) It's so wonderful that you take in foster birds as well.

Thank you Terry.

I will find pictures to show you all. I am very proud to show them off.

Fostering is my pleasure. It is nice to see untame birds go from a frightened animal that dislikes people to something more like a pet. Some of them take me years to rehabilitate but it gives my life meaning. I look forward to it everyday.

Welcome to the forum! I also have an interest in reptiles. I have 2 beardies and a colony of dubia feeders. Look forward to bearing about your experiences with reptile and parrot rescue.[emoji2]

Thank you Solo. I just made a thread in the forum for non-parrot animals, in case you would like to share more about your reptiles?
