My parakeet won't come out of his cage.

I've had my parakeet for about 5 months now and I have tried everything to get him to come out of his cage but he wont even come onto my hand. Any ideas?

Target training is a great way to get your bird out of its cage it will take some time but the results will be great you can even use this method to get your bird to step up for you.

He probely doesn't rust you enough yet.Try taming him. Here's a good website to help tame your parakeet , it worked on my budgies,
