my parrot died

I had given little 8 small peices water melon to a approx 1 month had 15 days parrot. Water melon was crushed and without seeds. I gave him at 5.00 pm and after three hours at 9.00 pm I tried to gave him food again but he was sluggish and sleepy and didn't opened his month to eat then I didn't gave anything to him and let him sleep, but the next morning I found him dead ,does water melon killed him or anything esle ,please. Tell me?

sorry for you loss, and at such a young age too.

It's hard to say whether it was the watermelon. Something may have been wrong with him and the watermelon was the last thing he wanted to eat.

you can have a necropsy done to find out why he died, but it must be done right away.

I think he had an underlying health issue and I don´t think the watermelon was the cause of death.

I agree with the statements above, watermelon was not the cause and it was probably a healthy issue.
