While on vacation I had a little shopping spree for my fids at Jungle Junction in Connecticut! What a great shop! Here are all the goods I loaded up on!

We were planning on taking Bella on vacation but had to leave her home with the sitter. It was going to be in the 80's that week (and it was). Just too hot to bring a dog along on a trip. She did well with the sitter though! ;)

Do you mean how much did everything cost?? $340.

Awesome haul! Looks like tons of fun. :D I love shopping for fids, even though most of the toys get disassembled and reassembled into something more pleasing, because apparently if it's too long or too wide or too-anything it's absolutely terrifying. :p

Jealous! That's awesome. I had a shopping spree at Amazon the other day but dwarfs in comparison to your purchase. Thanks for sharing!

wow thats to much [emoji17][emoji17][emoji17]

Actually for all that I bought it really wasn't too bad. I probably paid less then what I would have online!

LOL! So true! I buy some toys and make some. Whenever I buy toys I try to buy toys that I can keep parts to when they are done with them. Such as chains, links and bells. They can always be repurposed into another toy. Even wood parts that fall to the bottom of the cage early on.

Well, I was really in need of a bunch of stuff when I went that day. I don't normally run out of that much stuff all at once. Usually it happens in phases. Plus I needed a few things for Sidney and Savannah's birthday was last month and I felt the need to spoil her. LOL! :D

Went to another bird store in Toronto Canada where we did this month's mini vacation and spent about $40 bucks on toy parts. Got a lot of great ideas for making some toys. So I escaped from there for a whole heck of a lot less, but I didn't need anything really since I splurged last month! LOL

What a magnificent haul! There is absolutely nothing I like better than going on a shopping spree for the fids:)

I have to admit, it was so much fun! :D The customer service at a small business can't be matched either! ;)

Fantastic photos! I love hitting independent bird shops. For way too many years, I called Connecticut home, biggest regret? Waited so long to move to Florida! One thing I do miss is being able to do a simple cross country, off trail, hike through the woods. A bit dicey down here!

Flboy - I am sure Florida is great! I definitely envy the weather. But I do love the landscapes of New England. :) Hiking is definitely great up here! You must have some great independent birds shops down in Florida!

Gilly needs a toy shopping spree. Especially his travel cage (beach weekends)...it's lame! Same few chewed up toys. I think I need to get moving on that!

Beach weekends don't sound lame to me! How fantastic for Gilbert and you. :) Sounds like some new toys are in order. Who doesn't love a good shopping trip! ;)
