Nail growing upwards?

I was wondering if I should be concerned? It doesn’t hurt her or anything, but I wonder why it stands upwards in the first place?

That is different,. Likely resulting from a break in the joint.
Since, it will rarely be used, it will not naturally wear and will need to be trimmed to a like length as the other nails. Rounding the top is recommended.
