Name help please for my Pineapple hen.

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I picked up my Pineapple hen, she is just over 10 weeks old and absolutely gorgeous :07:
However we are having trouble deciding on a name for her and any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Here is a pic of her

We have a couple of names as ideas, but none of them are screaming out to me as that's the one. She is a very bright yellow. The names we have narrowed down so far are: Peachy and Butters.

I was going to say Daisy! I also like Shasta (don't know why) Cleo (for cleopatra because of her coloring, cleopatra wore lots of makeup, I think) Sunni, Lili & Scout. She is gorgeous!

Wow what a beautiful bird! I've not seen one like her before. My first thought was Sprinkles then disregarded it as to cutesy. Her brilliant yellow reminds me of a flower in the sunflower family called Golden Yarrow. It's an old plant with first mention of it from the Trojan War when Achilles used the leaves to stop bleeding of his fellow soldiers. Yarrow is my suggestion for name.

Don't feel bad if it takes you a while to figure out a name that sticks. It took me almost a month to figure it out, but when I finally thought of it, I knew it was perfect. In the meantime I was calling him Birdy! XD

I always like to run descriptive words through Google translate when I'm looking for inspiration for names. A few that I liked were translations into Latin.

Quis = Pineapple
Aurea = Golden
Pinna = Feather

That sure is a beautiful birdie!

I am still soooo stuck, so many names sound great, but nothing is jumping out to me as just "perfect". Her colouring is really bright & its making me want to call her something tropical. I have Calypso in my mind, but I know I would end up shortening it & I don't know how keen I am on calling her Cali lol.

I would be inclined to go with Apple, but she seems far too yellow and Butters doesn't sound bright enough. Uggh I am going to do my own head in here

Our standard GC's name is Winkee and I can't decide if I want something that matches his name or not. Goodness knows how I managed to name my 3 sons, I think it was easier
