Other than maybe a rescue I don't think you will find one for less than a $1000. I looked at some in south Texas and they were close to $3000

My wife and I just got a Meyers in a parrot shop in Delray Beach last month. She was the last one they had and 7 months old. Her price was marked down to $1500. You could them and ask or see when they may get more. If you want the name, I’ll send it to you.
