I recently lost my little Parrotlet
from a bad accident. I am starting to finally feel better, although I have never felt this much heartache before!
I think I am ready for another parrot; however I am undecided on the type, it is between a parrotlet and a Turquoise Green Cheek Conure. I have interacted with both birds, the parrotlet is not weened just yet, but both a very sweet and seem to have good dispositions.
I currently live in a condo, with two cats, and I also work 24 hour shifts. My parrotlet did not seem to mind and I left her with lots of toys to entertain herself. I am wondering if I did choose the Turquoise Green Cheek Conure if that type of bird is as tolerable to being home alone for that length of time. I know every bird differs. I also live in a condo an am wondering if the conure would be to noisy, I have done research and seems the green cheeks are one of the quieter conures.
Any input would be helpful. Thank you!
