Hello everyone.

My CAG is 1 year old and has not molted yet (it seems like she is starting this process though). I was planning to take her to vet after the molting to clip the wings. The problem is that one of her nails became too long and almost touching the finger. Do you think we should see the vet sooner then I planed?

Here is a picture.

If it was one of my girls I'd take her in to get her nails trimmed sooner than later. Molting can take a while. My Alex is just finishing a heavy molt that started in the middle of March

Thank you for your opinion.

I'll make an appointment at the vet clinic.

That looks like a deformed nail. It shouldn't be curling in so much. It may require more trimming than her other nails.

Just wanted to thank everyone for encouraging me to take my CAG for pedicure:-)
Today I took her to the vets and everything went really smooth. The hardest part was to get her into the carrier, but the nail clipping was done very professionally and quickly. Now we are at home and it looks like Tos'ka still loves me:-)
