Nelson gets a closer look

Nelson is curious about everything and when I carry him around the apartment he points me toward whatever he wants a closer look at. Yesterday he was particularly interested in some of the pictures on the walls. He was perched on my finger and I held him up to examine some framed photographs. Apparently that wasn't good enough, so he climbed onto one of the picture frames to get a closer look at the picture above it:

Get him a framed pic of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, he'll LOVE that!!

Funny, we have a picture from my last trip to Scotland, of the rolling hills, meadows and crags, framed and mounted at the top of Salty's cage. He does the same thing sometimes, putting has face right up to it and stares. We always ask him if he is taking a wee trip to the Auld Country. Silly bird, he does nae even like haggis!
