A male parakeet names Skype, a female named Cloud, and a male masked lovebird named Baby
My two parakeets (a Female named cloud, and a male named Skype) share a cage, and earlier today the female laid an egg, it was sitting at the bottom of the cage, and I haven't seen them do any really big courtship acts. Do I just leave the egg alone and wait a few days to see if it's fertile? Or is there something else I'm supposed to do?

Make sure she has plenty of calcium in her diet as making eggs pulls calcium from a hen’s bones.

Otherwise yes, just leave it on the cage floor so she can brood it if she wants to.
