Nesting/territorial/kitchen cabinets

Zon has claim the kitchen cabinets.

Appears to associate cabinets with nesting box.

Defcon 4 awaits all except for me in the kitchen when bird flys on top of cabinets.

Bird may have worked in demolition in previous life, based on it's work on my cabinet trim when cabinet is closed.

It's a new, (24 hr) MO.
Any advise to discourage this hormonal behavior?

Not unless I relocate the cage.

Is his cage in the kitchen? It may be better to move the cage to a different room.

Loads of chew toys in it's cage may help with demolition bird?

I separate the RB from kitchen activities/fumes/fires/hazards always. Just my paranoia.

Yes, I would not have kitchen access.

The mistake of the vaulted ceiling kitchen/aviary has already happened.

There is a spot worth trying, unfortunately open entry way to the kitchen.

Cabinet time is nice for everyone though..
