Hi all,

I’ve researched this bird for over a year and he is due to be delivered today. I’m so nervous and panicking. No idea where this has come from. any tips and advice to help?

I’ve researched this bird for over a year and he is due to be delivered today. I’m so nervous and panicking. No idea where this has come from. any tips and advice to help?

All I can say is, give him space for a while, don’t try and pick him up and play with him immediately, even if he is very tame.
Let him explore his new cage and toys, sit in the same room as him, speak softly and maybe read aloud. Don’t sit against or right next to his cage though, especially if he’s scared of you.
