New and hoping to rescue a parrot

Hi there,

I am new here and looking to adopt a parrot. I am in Montreal, Quebec and am seriously upset that I can't seem to find any bird rescue's here... does anyone know of any in Montreal, Quebec. or near by?

I have tried everything...I am on a waiting list for a few rescues...but it could take forever.

Would you be interested in a green-cheeked conure? My daughter bought him 2 years ago and seems to have lost interest in him. I have taken over his care, but am retired and travel often. He would do better with someone who's present to give him the attention he wants. His name's Chico and he's 4 years old, can be a bit feisty at times,but is smart and really cute.
