Duckie -( passed ) 1.5yrs Yellow-sided GCC

Eden- 14/8/2017 High-red pineapple conure

Indi- 12/11/2017 White bellied caique

Asher- 15/1/2018 - Black capped conure

Wolfie- 21/10/2017- Alexandrine
It comes usually every 1-2 months where its that time to make chop again. Todays chop consists of:

-Kale
-Celery/ celery leaves
-Carrot
-Squash
-Red/green capsicum
-Cucumber
-Payaya
-Pineapple
-Apple
-jalapeno pepper
-Mung/kidney/black beans
-Alfalfa sprouts
-fennel/sesame seeds
-quinoa
-green legumes
-beetroot
-Cauliflower

Looks like a great batch of chop! When I make chop it’s always so simple. Carrots, bell peppers, broccoli, lettuce, mixed greens, and sometimes cilantro or dill.

My birds are chop fanatics though, no matter what’s in it :)

And those beans, I assume you cooked them?
Yes, I've cooked the beans, and I do freeze it my birds get it in the night and then fresh chop in the morning

Wow. Does so many different veggies together entice Parrots? Im still in veggie limbo with mine.

You could add chicken and pasta and eat that yourself lol, looks yummy x

How does that freezing work with the likes of cucumber and apple in there??
This is my first time using apple in the night time chop, but from the cucumber yes it does go a bit watery but my birds don't mind. I will only snap off whats needed for the birds then put it back in the freezer then defrost it in water.

Haha I know they eat better then me but, yes it does for my birds to make them eat more, epically my caique she loves it.

You’re brave my fried. I couldn’t add temperate fruit in my frozen chop. Only already frozen fruit - ones packaged for smoothies. They just get too icky when defrosted.
