Alexanderine
Hi everyone my names Karen the username is my nickname for my alexanderine 🤣 real name coco, I adopted him last August and so far I can feed him nuts, food etc but can't handle him. He flies around my lounge when he likes and loves sitting on curtain rail, he's fabulous at destroying things, his favourite is catballs :green2:
Anyone else adopted a bird at 3 yrs old and been able to manage handling, he's a funny little duck 😂🦆. If anyone has any advise it would be great fully received 😁

Greetings! I just sent you our regular "moderator-welcome-letter"... I think you may find some helpful links in there.
Meanwhile, I commend you for reaching out and researching. The Search engine at the top is a good one. I'm glad you're here.

Here's a little something for you!

Welcome and be welcomed. Alexanderine parrots, like most ringnecks, need constant human interaction or they tend to go back to the 'wild' state. Keep trying. As Scott said, if he will eat from your hand, thats a big step in the right direction. And if not, he will make a lovely curtain hook!

Destroying cat balls must be hard on the cat.
