New Caique owner

Just adopted a black headed Caique who was handled & will be 2 years old 4/20/16. He was amazing the first week, not is a blood drawing monster! I want to gain information on why he changed & what I can do to Mae this better.

I would recommend looking into clicker training and positive reinforcement. Barbara Heidenreich, Susan Friedman, Lara Joseph and Hillary Hankey all have some amazing advice and guidance!


The first week was probably amazing because new home, new environment, new people. Everything is new and scary so he was probably "on the alert". Now that he's settled in, he's trying to tell you what he does and doesn't like.
