New Coral Billed Pi, Bailey, checking in~

Good morning everyone! Already intro'ed myself in the new member's section, but also wanted to say hi here. My wife and I have a Coral Billed Pionus who is 9 years old - his first owner had a newborn and "re-homed" him with us at 6 months (found through an old Pionus website PionusStrut.com, that went down a few years ago). We had a Blue Headed Pi (Pippin) for 8 wonderful years, but sadly she passed away this past New Years Day from kidney failure (we think it was a genetic issue). Looking forward to reading and learning here.....

He is gorgeous! It's amazing how the coral billed pi's look almost exactly like maxi's except for the beak.

Thanks y'all! I will take GREAT pride in rubbing it in his face that he is "GORGEOUS"! lol!!!!

As he is a re-homed bird, we have always wondered if he is 100% CB (which we've been assured by CB breeders he is) or if he had some Maxi in him.....don't know for sure.....BUT what we DO know, is that he is an AWESOME addition to our flock and he is 100% GREEN COCKATOO!!!! He rarely lets me or my wife sit in the house doing what WE want.....if he's out, he WANTS a rub thank-you-very-much,...and scritches......adnd general, all-purpose attention......
