Hello! My name is Michelle and I have 3 birds....a Solomon Island Eclectus (Kiwi-male) a cockatiel (Tweety-male), and a parakeet (Zippy-female). I just recently got my parrot-he's the only large bird I've owned. I've had him for a little over a year now and he's the sweetest most awesome bird I could ever ask for. He's still a baby-he will be 2 in early November. He's very tame and an excellent talker. Every once in a while he gets loud but generally he's quiet. He's good with a variety of people, although he prefers me. If he's with me he will growl at everyone else, unless they have a treat! He's the perfect bird-I feel lucky to have him!
