New Green Cheek family from Wyoming

Hello all,
We are the Reeds and we just purchased our first Conure (Green Cheek). Our 3, 7 and 8 year olds really wanted a bird that they could hold and teach to talk. We wanted something that would enjoy the time with the kids and us. We picked up Sophia 2 days ago now and she's already warming up to us. She was born this February and is very inquisitive but nervous in the new home. We just moved back to Wyoming and I'll retire from the Air Force here in 2 years and I'll need a companion to help me work on my hot rods while the wife's at work and kids are at school. I look forward to reading all the threads and learning all I can about our new family member.

We don't have any pics yet but I did get a video of our 8 year old with her. He is the one that loves all of our pets and they all love him. We will surely have pics soon though. My wife takes lots with her big screen TV phone (I'm not a smart phone fan) and does the facebook thing. We usually do take lots of pics.
