- Goffin Cockatoo, 5 Cockatiels & a baby Yellow-Naped Amazon on the way.
Hi all-
I just joined this forum. I'm a self-proclaimed "bird guy" and becoming more so all the time! I have 5 cockatiels, all of which are rescue birds in one way or another. I've had a 30+ year-old Goffin's Cockatoo for about a year now (a handfull... but worth it!) ... and the main reason I joined here....last week I put a deposit on a baby Yellow-Naped Amazon that I can bring home in late September!! All my current birds have come frome either bad circumstances or bad owners (or both). Since having Olivia it's made me want to get a young bird without bad habits... sooooo...after doing some intensive research I decided on a the yellow nape. So I'm here looking for advice, tips, etc.... or members who just want to say hi...
