Figured i'd introduce myself.

Well.... the birds since that's what the place is about lol....

I have Jack a 4 Year old Congo African Grey that i raised from 12 weeks on up and Cosmo a 7 year old Umbrella Cockatoo who i just got in early December of last year.... both are DNA sexed Jack being a boy (luckily since i named him before i got him and just got him tested last month) Cosmo is a female who was tested by the previous owner who had her from a very young age.

And on Monday I'm adding the third member to the family and final one (yeah right lol) a 5 month old Blue and Gold Macaw named libby... she isnt DNA sexed.

Being that she is still young i'm considering re-naming her but i dont mind the name libby much. We have a cat named "lilly" so that might be a reason i would consider re-naming but i'm not good at names so it would be something simple like Jill lol

I'd love to keep adding birds but playtime will come in factor then since i dont play favorites with any, i also run a web hosting and eBay business from home so they get a LOT of time outside of the cage.

Welcome to the lovely forums, there are alot of bird-brains here that would love to see pictures of your flock and Fids! We will most certainly try out utmost to answer any question you may have(:, and Jill is a lovely name I imagine it to be a Jenday or a Sun Conure kind of name. And amazing that a kittys getting along in same houeshold with birds :o. Welcome once again!

Welcome to the forum!

What a lovely flock you have! Can't wait for pics.

Autumn, I'm guessing that like in this house, birdy rules over kitty ;) am I right Cradle?

Cradle, you and your wonderful flock
Having quite a few different birds, must be something quite beautiful to experience.
Browse around, great awesome members, very informative post
Have fun and remember to post pics.....

Thanks for the welcomes, ill try to get some pics up of Jack and Cosmo today.

Yes Von you're correct the birds rule the cats... all but one was grown up here so they know all about the birds hehe... if i find the video of Cosmo chasing one of ours around the house i'll post it up... for some reason she hates Charlie, anytime she sees him she'll run clear across the house to get to him and dont ever let my gf hold Charlie while Cosmo is around.

Cosmo is more attached to her to begin with, she is more into kids and women then guys so my gf and my daughter are her favorites it appears.

Libby is currently at a breeder (more of a hobby breeder then profit, she came down 500 on the price because she wanted a good home for Libby so once i told her i raised jack she felt much more comfortable it seems) my mom knows well who has 8 cats which she has been around so at least she'll be used to cats, i doubt the cats will even go close due to the large size... they already seem confused that these birds will bite them and chase them LOL.... which doesn't mean that i leave them unattended around the cats.

hi cradle, can't wait to see photos! i have 2 cats and they're scared of all the birds, my lovebird will land on the cats and ride on there backs! my macaw, angel, definately rules the house though LOL

There is a picture of Libby that my mom sent me earlier, she picked her up today and i'll be meeting her monday to take Libby home.

I'll work on getting some pics up of Cosmo & Jack but have to pick up some new batteries for my camera first.... the only pics i can find are taken by my cell phone and are not good quality at all.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww such a sweet face! x

Every time I see a B&G I just want to cuddle it to bits!

Probably a good idea I never adopt my own B&G......

Welcome and congrats... Libby is beautiful......

Can't wait to see the other members of your flock.
