Thanks for the warmth welcome!!
I live in los angeles California and lately for the past 3 month's I've been wanting to adopt a parrot. Any advise will be highly appreciated.
I work from home and have plenty of time to learn and devote time if i do have the opportunity to own a parrot. I do reasearch online on how to raise and take care of a parrot. But i rather get feedback from anyone in this website. Seems like everyone in this web have good knowledge on these exotic bird. Seeing all the photos and reading everyone's forms tells me im on the right track. Thanks :red::rainbow1::orange::green::green1:

Welcome.

I like your style... reach out, read, research...

Yes, indeed, stick around and take your time. There is so much to learn. I'm glad you're here.

Welcome to the forums, thanks for joining! What sort of bird are you considering?

There are many ways to acquire a bird; rescues, private adoptions, breeders, pet shops, occasionally animal shelters. If you are not sure what you are looking for, try to find a rescue or facility that permits volunteer work. You'll be exposed to a wide variety of species and may find one that suits your personality and life style.
