Hi all! I just got (8 days ago) a disgustingly cute 5 month old hand raised Jenday named Spinnaker. The little guy/gal is adorable and we are already having a lot of fun. I have a question
When I'm working on my computer I have Spinnaker hang out on his stand on my desk. It has a food bowel and I put favorite yummies in there. So far, green beans and jalepenos top the list. Anyway, it doesn't take long before the little guy dangles off the t-stand and drops onto my desk. I'm talking, 3 minutes. Not happy to just explore, he goes for the computer keys, tries to pick apart the mouse, etc.
Is there a way to get the little guy to hang out more on his T-stand? He gets so disruptive on my desk that I have to put him someplace else-- which defeats the purpose of hanging out. He usually tries to fly back to me, anyway, and ends up on the floor (clipped wings).
But no matter where the T-stand is, he just doesn't seem to like it. He'll toss out his green beans, and then climb down and eat them on what ever surface the t-stand happens to be on. I switched stands to one that was higher, but he is not daunted.
Any tips would be appreciated!
