New lovebird swoops my head

We adopted Punky about a week ago.

When we let her out of her cage, she flies around, and swoops right over our heads. She will go out of her way to swoop over us.

Wonder what the behavior is about?

Saffron is just learning to fly, and I think she does this just to kind of "touch base" in case she gets tired. I have big crazy curly hair, and she loves to crawl around in it.
