new member; first time bird owner

Hi everyone, I am Joyce and my beautiful African Grey is Jeremiah (although he is a she).
I am not only new to the site I am new to bird "parenting" also. I have only had my baby for three weeks. She is at least 6 years old and we are learning to get along together.

Hi, and welcome, both to the site and to Greys. You picked a great parrot to spend your life with. Looking forward to hearing more about your girl. I have an 11-year-old male Grey, who is a loud mouth but a beloved family member nonetheless.
