new member introduction

Hello all
I am totally new to forums so please be patient lol.
I always go to Internet to look stuff up about my parrot and a lot of my answers show up your on your forum. So thank you.
I own a blue and yellow macaw. And knew nothing about parrots before now. So I have a lot to learn. Let me start off. We caught out parrot. And yes we did try to find the owner with no luck. So we consider ourselves lucky to have Rio as a member of our family for over a year now. I sent feathers off for Dna testing and am waiting on results. We thin he is a boy. The vet who we started taking him to and their staff thin he is 3 or 4 yrs of age due to how he acts.
