New Member seeking help

We just brought our 6 month old Eclectus home yesterday, from the breeder, he has not touched his food or water since we put him in his cage

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

Your new baby may be a wee bit shell shocked from the move. He is now in a new home, new people, new surroundings, new sounds..new everything.

What is he doing? Sitting in one place and looking flabberghasted?

Have you tried feeding him some tidbits by hand, to see if he'll take some?

If you are worried about him starving himself, I'd suggest moving some food cups really close to him.

I'm confident that once he feels at ease and comfortable, he'll explore his new home and will have no trouble nourishing himself.
