New member, sun conure, saying hello ^_^

Thought I would pop in here and say hello!

My daughter has been studying birds incessantly and her father and I have decided the time has come where she is old enough to provide most of the care necessary for her little feathered friend, so she'll be getting her sun conure when his breeder calls to let us know that he is ready to come home with us.

Here's a picture of the adorable dude.

In any case, I figured I should make an account over here in case we come up with any questions. Plus, I'm a bit of an incessant reader and studier, like my daughter.

Well Mikey, you were right. The jealousy is eating me up alive -- Loki is ridiculously adorable and cuddly and fun. Going to end up with a bird of my own soon. An Eclectus seems like the one for me ^_^
