Hi, I am a new member with two cockatiels-Angel:grey: & Lucy. :yellow1:

I am very excited about joining the group and hope to look up and find some clarifications in the threads or recipe section for chop chop made for Cockatiel's. I've looked at several recipes on the net and I get concerned about what items should be pre-cooked and which items should not. Sometimes it is a little confusing. So hopefully I will be able to find what needs to be be done to what ingredient.

Also, I saw a commercial on the copper chef pan and I found this forum searching for it's safety with birds. I did a post on the thread to get an update to see how that member thought about the use of the pan. It seems like they've had it for a while.

Thank you so much for letting me join, have a great day!

Linda

Welcome to the forums, Linda. It is our pleasure to have you join with Angel and Lucy!! You will find many chop recipes here: Parrot Food, Recipes and Diet - Parrot Forum - Parrot Owner's Community

Any of the recipes and suggestions can be altered for size and availability in your region. Some items such as sweet potatoes and yams are generally cooked, other items can be gently warmed or processed for softness.
