Hello. I am a new member. I own a blue and gold macaw ( Ernie), an African grey ( Maggie), a senior cockatiel and a zebra finch. I love all my birds. I feel that they teach me something everyday. I have grown children; so the birds are my babies. I am excited to be part of this community and learn more about my birds especially Ernie since she is new to me.

Hi everyone. Thanks for your welcomes. Maggie is 20 years old. Just had her annual exam and did a DNA test. The doctor suspect it is a male. Ernie my macaw it's a girl. So it is a little cravcy. My cockatiel is a male and the zebra finch too. The cola tile adopted the finch. They live together.

Ernie is gorgeous! I bet Maggie and Ernie aren't confused at all about their names, they'll let the humans worry about that.
