Hello all, I'm new to this forum, i found you all when i was looking for info on my Meyers Parrot Dexter. I adopted him 2 months ago and he is adjusting very well. Dexter is 3 years old, doesn't talk yet and doesn't play with his toys our chew.
Back to me I live in Montclair California, i have 2 jack russell terriers one who thinks Dexter would make a nice snack. so i keep a dog gate one of those metal according style around the bird cage this is working very well for us all. I have so falling in love my Dexter, just cant help it.
I do have a Question for the Group. I have a chance to adopt another Meyers Parrot from a good home, very well taken care of she is 8 years old talks some and plays etc. i thought it would be nice for Dexter to have a friend around. i was wonder can at some point both live in the same large cage? or will they always have to have separate living quarters.
i have add a photo of Dexter and i to my profile
Thank you all Laura
