Ello.
Have a 4 year old Indian ring neck and pair of escape artist love birds . Came home today to find a new bird sitting on the ringnecks outside cage .opened the door for it and it climbed in .my ringneck is big scaredy cat so moved the visitor To a separate cage
can someone identify the bird please ..

It's likely someone's lost pet if it climbed right into the cage, I would definitely post 'found bird' ads in your area as someone is probably missing it!

Fantastic identification . Thank you . I have now had it a week and have posted adds on local FB and what's app groups . It was very weak and tired when It first came so I think it has been lost for a while .

Beautiful bird, I’m glad it found you. Have you posted to 911 Parrot Alert on FB? It is probably the best FB group for reuniting parrots with their people and is used around the globe (not sure where you are located).

Thanks for provide a safe haven, and I hope you can reunite him with his owner.

You can use dilute vinegar and cold water to clean the mold and dirt from the food and water bowls. No hot water with vinegar as then it releases harmful fumes.

She is now in with my ringneck again . Tried to escape the temp cage and got stuck . My ringneck is still a bit Moody from malting but just avoids the new visitor .from South Africa .
