Parrots
"Birdie". Sun Conure
Birdie gets obsessed with things. First, it was the drum hanging light fixture in the dining room. It's pretty much ruined. Looks okay in the day, but turn the light on at night and you can see Birdie's handiwork. I spent hours chasing her out of the dining room. Finally, after she'd removed the inner plastic lining, she lost interest. Next she was obsessed with the chest of drawers in my husband's office. She chewed huge chunks in the wood until finally he started leaving the drawers open....nothing in there to hurt her. Now she is no longer interested. Her newest thing is my bra! Yes, my brassieres! She's always done t-shirt diving, mostly to take a nap. Now she is obsessed with bra chewing! She does it frantically and has to come up for air when she gets too hot! She doesn't bite me, but it's nippy and very uncomfortable. My husband and I are retired, so I've decided to go bra-less and see how that goes. Never a dull moment with the Birdie!

Rb's the same way! For a while it's this, then it's that. At the moment, it's clear "pony beads" (not sure why they're called that).

I quit using the glittery ones, on the advice of Terry57, but the clear ones are safe, and equally fascinating to the Rb. I'm collecting them, for an as-yet-unimagined project.

Parrots are weird!

 Let's hope that doesn't catch on in the great conure community! :58:

I feel for you, Girl!

I think she wants us to get naked! If my husband wears a button-down shirt, she immediately unbuttons it within seconds! HA!
